The Kewdale turns 4!


In April The Kewdale Tavern will be turning 4 years old. Since having Retail Systems as a Point of Sale provider from the very beginning, the venue has adopted technology as a contributor to its success.  With the growth of the tavern came: an extension to the beer garden for the option of live music and larger functions, a drive-through coffee shop and a take away burger barn.  These changes have been met with plenty of success with customers now coming from ‘far and near’ as a result.  Our system has also adapted well to these innovative changes by adding mobile POS units.

These innovative ideas are what Venue Manager; Clint Dyer says ‘really help the tavern improve in every area, while also offering the best customer service possible’.  These adaptions can range from: the effective us of social media to implementing unique new specials regularly.  With all these dynamic changes occurring from week to week it is important to have a user friendly system that can cope with these adaptions with minimal impact.  Four years into the use of the SwiftPOS system, Clint describes any issues he now has as ‘very minor and easily fixed’.

The Kewdale not only keeps the clientele guessing with specials, but also looks to update the menu regularly and is not afraid to try new products while removing products that don’t seem to fit.  With a well drilled team of staff that are aware of every change made and the forward thinking of technologies such as iPads to take orders, every customer can receive the experience they deserve.
