E Cucina in 2014

Found in Central Park, new owner of the restaurant Ben Ilijovski plans to make the most of his surroundings by making some adjustments in 2014.  Site Champion Dylan Fall revealed there were plans for renovation early on in the new year.  “The main bar at the front of the restaurant will be moved over to what was previously the lounge room.”

Dylan also explained the significance of the renovation in relation to the new direction the company was heading, “We plan on moving slightly away from the café feel of the restaurant by offering our patrons a greater wine list, a variety of excellent daily specials on offer and opening ourselves up to the option of more sundowners and functions”.

It is with this new direction the company has taken that the relationship with Retail Systems was built.  Before taking over the restaurant, Ben identified what he wanted in a Point of Sale system and found SwiftPOS to be the best fit for his business.  Ben’s staff all wear RFID readers to quickly scan on and log in to any register so they can add products to any live orders, this process means drinks or snacks ordered ‘on the go’ don’t ever get missed by staff.

With the extensive sales reporting range of SwiftPOS, Ben and Dylan will also soon be able to track how successful the new image of E Cucina is, even down to each individual product they decide to introduce.  When asking Dylan how he found the new system: “there were a few initial teething problems, but Duncan and Mike (the support staff) have been very responsive and helpful with us so we can achieve the goal of making the system idiot proof in the long-term.”
